This is real hip-hop. No unnecessary vulgarity or ridiculous rhymes about being a criminal kingpin, pimp or millionaire. Just honest, real, emotional hip-hop.
On a side note, it is ridiculous how many of my favorite songs were produced by Exile. This is by far my favorite beat of all time!

I randomly heard about Grieves and Budo about two years ago I think. They had just signed to Rhymsayers and were re-releasing their album “88 Keys and Counting”. I was hooked thirty seconds into the album, and it has ranked in my top five albums of all time ever since. I reviewed the album and Grieves and Budo both hit me up on twitter to personally tell me how awesome they thought it was. Just tooting my own horn now.

Been following these guys music for like 4 years now. I still blast that “Close Doors, Open Windows” and the whole Value Pack series is pretty dope. Glad to see this guys finally getting some national support. Just don’t sell out guys, that shit’s never cool.
