His second clutch hit in two World Series games. Can a pinch hitter win a World Series MVP? 

World Series Game 1 is tonight! Rangers vs. Cardinals. Carpenter vs. Wilson. Let’s make it 11in11 boys…beat them Rangers! I got my Cardinals winning in 5! Should be an awesome game tonight! GO CARDINALS!

When Adam Wainwright was lost for the season in Spring Training people wrote us off…

When Albert got off to the slowest start of his career people wrote us off…

When we were hit by the injury bug time and time again people wrote us off…

When our pitching fell apart, and we squandered a division lead people wrote us off…

When we were 10 1/2 back in the Wild Card at the end of August EVERYONE wrote us off…

When we had to play Philidelphia in the first round, no one gave us a chance…

When we made it to the NLCS to play the Brewers, they said it was a fluke…

When our starting pitching fell apart, people wrote us off…

Through it all though The Cardinals, and the fans believed! Now we are going to the World Series BABY! 

Now they say we can’t beat the Rangers…they should know better!

CARDS WIN!!!!!

Carpenter pitched an absolute GEM of a game tonight, as my underdog Cardinals toppled The Phillies and their ace Halladay in a 1-0 classic to advance to the NLCS.

The team that everyone counted out is proving that it’s not over until they say its over. GO CARDINALS! Lets crush the Brew crew like we did in 82!

Congrats to “The Machine” tonight for becoming the first player in major league history to hit 30 or more home runs in his first 11 seasons. Even more amazing consider this is by far his worst season ever. Yet with the loss I can’t help but admit the Cardinals are done for the season. Pujols will likely be in another uniform next season too, oh what a bitter sweet moment.
